In the Provençal tradition the"santons" (i.e. small saints in Provençal language) which are small clay figures, are supposed to represent the most prominent members of the local community.

Dressed santons or simple decorated ones which are placed in the mid of Christmas crib, are said to be the real ambassadors of our country all over the world.

Every stage of their making i.e. casting, firing, painting, clothes making, assembling, dressing, is passionately carried out in the concern of detail and harmony.
